Here's the deal... I have two SanDisk 32gb Flash Drives...

One shows up in This PC as a 'Local Disk'... like a Hard Drive...

This one can be used as a Recovery Drive, or to save a System Image on...

I have another that DOES NOT appear as a 'Local Disk'... it works properly for pretty much everything, it is on the list to use for a System Image...

However, when you select it, it gives the error you mention....

'This Drive Is Not a valid backup Location'...

You will need to get a different Flash Drive to use for Recovery Drive andor System Image... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

I have read about some type of command that can be used to reset the Flash Drive to appear as a Flash Drive, and not a 'Local Disk', but it didn't seem to work andor be reliable...

The only good news is that I have been seeing Flash Drives cheap lately...

BTW... the FAT32 I was talking about is for like a 4-8GB drive that would be used to install Win 10... Not a larger one for System Images and stuff...
