Evo X Clutch Master Cylinder Upgrade

If you've experienced a clutch master cylinder failure or are simply being proactive, MAP is here to help. We have seen the stock plastic clutch master cylinder fail with upgraded clutches and/or spirited driving; Here is a solution that anyone should be able to install with basic hand tools from the comfort of your own garage.

With this kit there is no need to remove the pedal assembly and cut the ball joint as we include a billet ball joint attachment. Additionally, pedal height is easily adjustable by breaking loose the jam nut, removing the clip, and threading the balljoint to your desired pedal height. A braided stainless steel line replaces the original line as well.

This is a must have upgrade for Evo X owners if you are installing an upgraded clutch, don't get left stranded! We recommend all Evo X owners who upgrade their clutches run this CMC, despite whether or not you've had your OEM unit replaced with the factory recall.

I have to say I was skeptical to order from MAp based on the infamous feud with Magnus' CMC upggrade kit for Evo X, so I ordered from Magnus instead. What a mistake. The line was not steel like they had promised. I quickly came over to MAP and purchased their kit. Since my car was a part I needed the part fast so I called and customer service was excellent, they ensured it arrived in one day. The MAP version of this CMC is 100x better quality. Exactly as pictured. I would only trust MAP from now on.

2015 Evox

The ball and socket lock plate doesn’t fit the 2015 evox. ( clutch connector) you have to grind it down or make your own. Also, you have to adjust your brake switch after the install or else your brake lights will stay on. Remember to bleed the brakes on both ports .

Best service ever

Started having some issue with my current MAP upgrade kit where the pedal started popping up higher than normal. Took a look and ended up losing the L bracket piece to hold the rod and ball joint together. Called up MAP and spoke with Miguel. I know he didn't have to do this, but ended up helping me out with getting that replacement piece. I would have been more than happy to pay for the item as I'm sure it wouldn't be too much, but regardless, this is definitely the best service I have ever received from anyone. I'm so glad I purchased my parts from them. I'll never buy from anyone else but from MAP. They truly know the definition of customer service and taking care of them.

MAP CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER

Got my oem clutch replaced to a act hdss with the streetlite flywheel my oem clutch master cylinder broke because its plastic upgraded the map clutch master cylinder and I love it worth the upgrade if you got a 08 to 13 evo x!!!

Excellent

As described. Works perfectly.
My advise is to use a dremel with a grinder attached and the 'bolts' are easy to remove.
